Committee hears evidence on Island's built heritage
Replacing old buildings with newer constructions doesn't help tackle climate change.
That's the view of a researcher, who has given evidence to a Tynwald committee looking at the Island's built heritage.
Dr Andrew Martin told the panel planning decisions taken to try to help reduce carbon emissions in reality make things worse.
He believes retaining existing structures is the greener option:
