Douglas Council asked to build new skate park in Pulrose
Residents in Pulrose are being urged to ‘make their voices heard’ in relation to play equipment for older children in the area.
Douglas Council says it’s had a request for a new skate park there.
£500,000 has already been allocated to revamp a similar amenity in Noble's Park and to refurbish the changing rooms at the Spring Valley playing fields.
Leader Claire Wells says if residents would rather see the football fields money spent elsewhere the council could distribute it to another project.
However she told Local Democracy Report Emma Draper, due to current budgetary challenges, she can’t make any promises about what could be achieved:
