Individual due to appear at Douglas Courthouse tomorrow
Police have confirmed a local man has been charged in connection with an assault which left a female victim with ‘serious injuries’ in Peel.
It happened at 9.30pm, in a lane which runs parallel to Bluebell Close, on Wednesday, 4 September.
The individual is due to appear at Douglas Courthouse tomorrow (9 September) but police haven't confirmed what he has been charged with.
A second person, arrested in connection with the investigation, has been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for the Isle of Man Constabulary said: “ Whilst we appreciate that there may be a lot of public interest around what has happened, we would respectfully request that people refrain from speculating as to what has happened whilst our enquiries continue.”
Police are still appearing for anyone with information regarding the assault to contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers.
