Board structure for next 12 months to be determined
Ramsey Town Commissioners will elect a new chairman this evening (Tuesday).
The authority's annual general meeting is being held in the Town Hall at 7pm.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Among other items of business are the nominations of members for committees such as finance and housing, as well as policing and regeneration representatives for the year ahead.
The meeting comes as the local authority looks set to acquire the historic Ramsey Courthouse building, ending several weeks of negotiations with the Department of Home Affairs.
The sale - the value of which has not been disclosed - will be finalised pending a central government review.
