Reshaping of post office counter network about 'changing customer demand'

Local post offices will become postal only not 'centre of universe for community services', says chair

The Isle of Man Post Office says it is reshaping its Island-wide retail counter network from April to reflect changing customer demand and new regulatory requirements.

Vehicle and driving licence services will be withdrawn at the end of March, although postal services will continue to be available locally across the Island.

In central Onchan and Foxdale, new arrangements are being sought after current providers chose not to continue, while some counters will focus on the most-used services.
