Reports of pupils turned away from schools

Parents say their children were unable to enter some sites this morning

We understand pupils have been turned away from a number of the Island's schools for a time this morning.

Parents from several schools have contacted Manx Radio to say their children were unable to enter school this morning.

A message sent to Ballakermeen High School parents says the school has now reopened following a fire alarm.

Manx Radio has contacted Isle of Man Government and the police for more information.
