Council asking anyone using beaches to remain vigilant
Reports have been received of possible oil contamination in the sea off Douglas Bay.
That's according to Douglas Borough Council which says those reports are now being investigated.
As a result, the authority is asking residents to remain vigilant when using the beach particularly in the Queen's Promenade area.
