Manx Utilities monitoring the situation
Please tell Manx Utilities if you notice an unpleasant odour in the north of the Island.
That's the message from the company, following reports of a bad smell at Balladoole.
The sporadic complaints of the odour have meant Manx Utilities is able to look at how to fix the problem.
But PR Manager Alison Cottier says it can be attributed to a number of factors:
