Senior officers say technical nature of the department would make it difficult
Reporting whistleblowing incidents relating to the Department of Infrastructure to an independent investigator would be difficult because of how varied its remit is.
That's according to its whistleblowing designated officer and its deputy chief officer.
They've been giving evidence to a Tynwald select committee assessing how effective the Island's laws are.
