WMQRS assesses health service again
The advice and recommendations of a report on the Island's health service are being heeded, according to a Department of Health and Social Care official.
Medical Director Dr Jugnu Mahajan has been speaking following the release of the latest West Midlands Quality Review Service report on aspects of the health service.
She says areas deemed an 'immediate risk' have already been dealt with, and work is being done to address areas of concern, like stroke services, albeit within current budget constraints.
