MLC's call to stop 'tinkering'
The Department of Health and Social Care is 'tinkering around the edges' when it comes to trying to sort its finances out.
That's according to David Cretney MLC.
An extra £9.5 million of funding for the department is being sought at this week's Tynwald sitting - that's despite it already getting an extra £11 million in the Manx budget for the current financial year.
A report on the DHSC's spending has been put together by the Public Accounts Committee, which will also go before the court.
