DESC 'eager' to understand root cause of issues at swimming pool
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture has spent £13,500 on a report and inspection of materials relating to broken tiles in the swimming pool at the National Sports Centre.
The fault was first identified in November 2023, and a series of tests and analyses have been ongoing since then, resulting in part of the lanes remaining closed.
DESC says it's 'eager' to understand the root cause of the issue which has prompted a number of specialist reports which have taken some time to conduct.
