Data currently being analysed by Public Health
Data gathered during the recent survey into the oral health habits of five year olds at home, is currently being analysed by Public Health.
The study, which required a detailed questionnaire to be completed by parents and carers of children in Year 1, focused on how children look after their teeth at home including brushing habits, food and drink intake and visits to the dentist.
The final results will then be combined with the findings of an epidemiology survey to be carried out later this year, after which an overall report will be compiled and published by Public Health in due course.
