
A new charity is preparing for its first big fundraiser, to grant wishes to families where a parent is terminally ill.
It's called Remember Me and the aim is to create lifelong memories of a loved one, for the whole family to treasure.
Remember Me is an offshoot of Wish Upon a Dream, which grants wishes to sick and terminally ill children.
Next Saturday local singers and bands including Truman Falls, Dickie Best and Simon Campbell will perform in a gig at Laxey Working Men's Institute, to get the new charity off the ground.
