43-year-old allegedly committed offence in June
A Douglas man who has been accused of rape has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
Stephen John Cannon, of Murrays Road, allegedly committed the offence on 25 June last year.
The 43-year-old appeared at Douglas Courthouse this week.
There was no application for bail and he will be held in custody until his next court appearance on 2 May.
Update: Following a trial at the Court of General Gaol Delivery Cannon - and his co-accused Graham Peter Skillicorn and James Marcus Doherty - were found guilty of rape. They are due to be sentenced on 5 December.
