Charity hoping to hit £1 million target
Around 40 teams including 75 cancer survivors will begin a 24-hour walk around the NSC track this afternoon in support of Relay for Life Isle of Man.
Described as a 'celebration' of a year-long campaign, the charity is hoping to hit £1 million raised for Cancer Research UK since it began 12 years ago.
Event Chair Nicola Walkingshaw says that goal is within touching distance:
A kick-off ceremony will take place at midday at the NSC.
