
A Douglas councillor believes the Isle of Man should debate its relationship with the United Kingdom.
David Ashford says the Manx people will be wondering what the future holds in the light of the recent 'VAT bombshell' and the termination by the UK of the long running Reciprocal Health Agreement.
Mr Ashford, who represents Victoria Ward, says the issue needs to be looked at closely, and the pros and cons examined by everyone:
