Education Minister insists agreement remains a priority
The Education Minister says it's "very disappointing" that a pay deal has been rejected by members of the largest teaching union.
NEU members voted against the offer the Department of Education, Sport and Culture had negotiated, which would have seen Manx teachers move to the London Fringe Scale.
The organisation will discuss its next step at a meeting later this week, while three other unions in dispute with the Department are due to discuss industrial action later today.
