New approach to development needed - project director
An alternative attitude to urban development could stimulate economic and social growth on the Island, according to a visiting regeneration expert.
Erika Turner is chairman of Liverpool's Baltic Creative initiative - she's presenting a talk this evening (Tue) as part of the ongoing MakeMarket takeover at Douglas Market Hall.
She's overseen ventures such as the Granby Four Streets project in Toxteth, which saw artists, investors and residents collaborate to rejuvenate a deprived area.
The presentation, which is open to all, begins at 6pm.
