Almost half of the cases were related to domestic abuse
The number of adult referrals to Victim Support Isle of Man went up by nearly 40 percent last year.
The charity's released its key figures from 2024.
Throughout the whole year, Victim Support received 675 referrals across all its services, compared to 494 in 2023.
608 of those were for adults while 67 were for children and young people.
Almost half of them were related to domestic abuse, with 297 referrals in total.
The charity says it's working hard to accommodate the increase in demand, and says anyone needing support should get in touch.
