Treasury confirms end to 12-month cut in fuel costs
The price of petrol and diesel is set to increase for Manx motorists next month as a 12-month reduction in fuel duty comes to an end.
Treasury has confirmed the year-long tax cut will end on 23 March.
The Island reduced duty on road fuel as part of a reciprocal agreement with the UK after the British Government announced a 5p per litre cut in response to the rising cost of living.
The updated Hydrocarbon Oil Duties Act will be laid before Tynwald next month.
