Primary schools made a £100,000 collective contribution
Funds have been reallocated to ensure the Department of Education, Sport and Culture stays within budget, according to its minister.
Daphne Caine told the House of Keys today (28 January) that her department needed to find £1 million.
She says all 32 primary schools across the Island were approached and 28 out of the 32 made 'small contributions' totalling £100,000 with the remaining 900,000 found in the department:
