Red weather warning issued for coastal overtopping

It will come into effect on Tuesday at 2:30pm

A red weather warning has been issued for tomorrow.

It's for coastal overtopping around the time of high tide, which will be at approximately 2:30pm.

There is likely to be major volumes of water and debris onto exposed locations.

Castletown promenades, Shore Road in Rushen and the northern end of Douglas promenade and to a lesser extent Ramsey and Laxey Promenades will be most affected.

The warning will be in place from 1pm until 4pm.

The Steam Packet Company has cancelled all sailings tomorrow. (9 December)
