Definition of poverty approved
The Speaker of the House of Keys has praised the efforts of his committee, in establishing a definition of poverty on the Island which has now been subscribed to by Tynwald.
In his address to the court, Mr Watterson said the work of his committee would provide the foundations for change - but conceded action to combat it was 'still to come'.
