People have the chance to watch one of the world’s leading parachute display teams tonight (27 August).

The British Army’s ‘Red Devils’ will descend on Douglas Beach from 7.30pm.

The aerial display - which will see the parachute team jump from heights of up to 10,000 feet - will take place opposite the Villa Marina.

Established in 1964 the Red Devils are serving soldiers from the Parachute Regiment.

Originally the event was supposed to be part of the Classic TT celebrations which were cut short due to forecast poor weather.

Manx Radio will be providing live commentary of the display.
