Rector of the Parish of Ramsey and the North East named 

Reverend Daniel Norris will join the Diocese of Sodor and Man next year

Reverend Daniel Norris has been named as the next Rector of the Parish of Ramsey and the North East. 

He is currently serving as Associate Priest at St James’s Church, Piccadilly, and will join the Diocese of Sodor and Man next year.

Reverend Norris described his appointment as 'a homecoming', having been educated on the Island. 

He says he is looking forward to returning and getting to know everyone across the parishes and local communities. 

"I was greatly encouraged by the warmth of welcome I received at interview and visiting the churches of the parish. 

"It is a great joy and privilege to be called to serve as a full-time parish priest, and I am excited to share in and support the mission of God in the Diocese of Sodor and Man as I celebrate my 10th year as a Priest."
