£9 million deficit expected in Manx Care budget by end of March
A "fit for purpose human relations recruitment and retention strategy" is needed to tackle the projected deficit in Manx Care's budget.
At Manx Care's September board meeting, Non-Executive board member Nigel Wood admitted that a £9 million deficit is forecast by the end of March 2023.
But he said this should not be a surprise, as the service has been "£10 million or so adrift for many years".
