Violent winds damage property and bring trees and power lines down
The Infrastructure Minister says recovery efforts 'start again' following the damage caused by Storm Éowyn.
Violent winds brought down a vast amount of trees around the Island yesterday, leading to many roads being blocked.
A number of routes have remained closed overnight.

Yesterday's bad weather comes just seven weeks after Storm Darragh caused similar widespread damage.
From 7-8 December 2024, severe gales and storm force winds saw more than 200 trees brought down, closing a number of roads around the Island.
Infrastructure Minister Dr Michelle Haywood says the clean-up from Darragh had 'only just' finished when Éowyn hit:
