A call for cigarette vending machines to be banned has received a mixed reaction from anti-smoking campaigners in the Isle of Man.
The British Heart Foundation says getting rid of the machines would make it harder for children to buy tobacco.
At present one in six young smokers buy cigarettes in this way.
Tobacco Strategy Co-ordinator in the Isle of Man, Anita Imberger (pictured), says many factors influence under-age smoking, especially whether a child's parents smoke at home.
But she admits the latest statistics give cause for concern:
