Budget to be presented by Council leader
Ratepayers in the capital will find out whether their rates will rise this morning (Wednesday).
Douglas Council will gather in the town hall on Ridgeway Street for its annual budget meeting.
Last year, the rates were held at 402 pence in the pound.
Council leader David Christian will present the budget to a special sitting from 10 o’clock.
