A Ramsey teenager will be remembered at a dedication ceremony on Saturday.
Fifteen year-old Danny Boyde lost his life in January after sustaining critical head injuries in a road accident on the Jurby Road in Lezayre.
He was flown to a children's' hospital in Manchester, but later died from his injuries.
A memorial bench will be installed and a plaque unveiled in his memory at the town's skateboard park.
Both have been paid for through fundraising events, organised by a group of Danny’s friends.
Danny’s mum Diane says the venue has been chosen specifically to relay a serious message:
Business is booming in Ramsey, so what is the town doing right?
