
The people have spoken - and will continue to do so.
That was the message from yesterday's protest march in Ramsey which saw a turnout of around 300 voicing their opposition to Post Office plans to transfer their Crown Office to within a local Spar store.
Local MHK's Allan Bell and Leonard Singer were in attendance. Mr Bell reiterated his claim that government was listening to what people were saying and work was on-going to try and find an alternative solution, whilst Mr Singer said he would be resigning his position on the board of the Post Office and suggested a rescue plan for both Ramsey and Douglas Crown Offices which involved raising the cost of postage.
