Parents taught young boy to find nearest station
Ramsey police have praised the bravery of a young boy who found his way to the station this morning after getting lost.
Officers say they were extremely impressed with the boy, and he'd walked some distance to reach the station.
In a post on social media, the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team say they sometimes deal with situations like this, and it's fortunate the young boy was taught to find the nearest police station if he ever needed help.
Parents are being encouraged to come to the police station and let their children know where it is.
They've pointed out the yellow phone at the entrance to Ramsey Police Station which, in case officers aren't present to assist, will go through to the Emergency Joint Control Room.
