A victory for community - that’s how a successful campaign to retain Ramsey’s crown post office in the town courthouse has been described.
Plans to transfer services from their current location to a sub post office in a Spar shop proved deeply unpopular in the town.
A protest march and various public meetings were held before a cooperative group was formed to prepare a 'sustainable community business model'.
