Government launches consultation on cannabis export industry
A Ramsey MHK has welcomed the prospect of the Island becoming a centre for hemp cultivation.
Lawrie Hooper, who is also a member of the Department for Enterprise, has made the comments after government has launched a new consultation on the subject.
It's looking to businesses and investors to take part, to gauge interest on developing a cannabis export industry here.
Mr Hooper says the Island has a lot of potential:
