Harry Shimmin caught in natural disaster in Kyrgyzstan
A Manxman says he's lucky to be alive after escaping from an avalanche unscathed.
Harry Shimmin, from Ramsey, was trekking in Kyrgyzstan on Friday (8 July) with two other Manx friends when a nearby glacier collapsed causing ice and rock to descend on his party.
He managed to film the whole thing which has now gone viral online.
