A young autistic man was found safe and well after going missing in Ramsey this afternoon (Saturday).
An alert came in to Manx Radio from the police just before 1pm to say the 19-year-old had gone out on his bicycle in the town.
There was serious concern because his lack of road sense posed a big danger to himself and other road users.
He had apparently gone missing some time in the previous hour, but there was a happy ending to the story when his father rang the station to say he had been found, not long after the call from police.
