Ramsey Lifeboat went to the aid of a stricken fishing boat this lunchtime.
The Jersey-registered vessel, which was eight miles north-west of the Point of Ayre, had fouled its propeller and rudder and was unable to make any headway.
It's understood it was something the boat had picked up, rather than being its own gear.
The lifeboat towed it into Ramsey, getting back at around 3.45pm.
