Vice Chair Sandra Cottam-Shea says future designs must work for everyone
Ramsey Commissioners says it is 'delighted' that flood defence plans for the quayside have been withdrawn by the Department of Infrastructure.
The local authority agreed that its priorities for future plans include keeping the parking to support businesses and assessing the impact of any future barrier designs which come forward.
Previous plans included a barrier wall four feet high along the quayside along with drainage and resurfacing works.
Vice-Chair Sandra Cottam-Shea says any future designs need to work for all stakeholders in the town.
