Juan McGuinness believes technology has a role to play
Ramsey Commissioner Juan McGuinness says it makes sense to look at updating local authority legislation in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
It follows calls for Tynwald to modernise laws set out in the Local Government Act 2006.
Current rules prevent authorities from ratifying decisions remotely.
Mr McGuinness feels its important to utilise technology if necessary:
Damaged crossings to be replaced
The crossings formed part of the prom regeneration scheme
MLC reiterates calls for milestone payments for new parents
Government previously said such a scheme would need costing
