'Dedicated' commissioner died in December
The funeral of Ramsey Commissioner and former MHK and MLC Leonard Singer is due to take place today.
Regarded as an 'enthusiastic' and 'dedicated' commissioner who 'genuinely cared' about the town, he died last month.
His family and friends say he will be 'greatly missed'.
Mr Singer's funeral service will take place at Douglas Borough Cemetery at 1pm (Thursday, 4 January) followed by interment in the cemetery.
Charity donations have been requested in lieu of flowers.
