Island features on popular BBC radio programme
A walk on the Island recorded by well-known BBC presenter Claire Balding will be broadcast this afternoon (Thurs 5th)
Claire came to the Island this summer to record an episode of her popular radio series "Ramblings" in which she tackles walks around the country with members of the public.
During her two day stay on the Island she met up with local artist Michael Starkey and guide Chris Callow to walk from Glen Dhoo to Tholty Will.
The walk will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 at 3pm.
Claire also walked the coastal path from Kallow Point to the Sound with Jane and Peter Gunn and archaeologist, Andrew Foxon.
This walk will be broadcast next Thursday (12th) at the same time.
