Competitor died after Sulby incident
A TT competitor died after hitting a wall at high speed, an inquest has heard.
Thirty-two-year-old Franck Petricola crashed at Sulby Crossroads during practices on Wednesday (June 3) last week.
A post mortem examination showed Mr Petricola - a car mechanic from France - died due to a massive blunt force trauma, and he'd sustained injuries to his head and body.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham opened and adjourned the hearing to a date to be fixed.
