Becky Stanley from Portsmouth-based Mental Health Support Group SHIFT delivered a presentation at yesterday's event at the Villa Marina.
The conference heard from experts in the areas of mental health, addiction and other forms of trauma.
Ms Stanley believes having a choice of services is important.
