Douglas South MHK presses chief minister over high court appeal
An MHK says there are still some unanswered questions after government's involvement in a decision to lodge a high court appeal against proceedings in the Dr Rosalind Ranson tribunal was discussed in Tynwald.
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan was asked about his role in the decision to challenge the tribunal's decision to seek evidence from a legal representative - saying he gave an opinion but not an instruction.
"Who asked for that point of view? And why was the communication kept private?"
Douglas South MHK Claire Christian asked the question - she told Manx Radio the public should be interested in the events that took place:
