The Chairman of the working party looking into the future of the Queen's Pier says a decision on the structure could be made in the near future.
Phil Gawne was responding to claims by the Vice Chair of the Friends of Queen's Pier, Michael Tramontana, that the people of the Isle of Man are being "taken for a ride" over the future of the structure.
Speaking ahead of this year's 'Under the Pier Party' tomorrow (Sat) Mr Tramontana said the vast majority of the people on the Island had shown in a referendum they wanted the structure to be refurbished, and he's frustrated that there's still been no action
