Former CM says media strategy could explain CoMin losing seats
A former chief minister says he believes the communications system used by the last government failed.
Allan Bell held the position between 2011 and 2016 and was succeeded by Howard Quayle.
In last week's general election four of Mr Quayle's Council of Ministers lost their seats.
They were Graham Cregeen, Ray Harmer, Geoffrey Boot and Tim Baker.
Mr Bell says he, and his predecessors, used to meet the media face to face if difficult decisions needed to be explained to the public:
