
A new extension will be unveiled at Queen Elizabeth the second High School in Peel this afternoon (Wednesday).
The building, which will feature new music and drama facilities and an atrium for students to use during lunchtime, has been named after long serving Board of Education member Betty Deans.
Mrs Deans (pictured) has been chairman of the governors at the school for the past 15 years.
She says she is honoured by the gesture and believes the facility will be a big improvement for youngsters:
