Online consultation for potential uses for iconic Ramsey building
A Ramsey MHK says the people of Ramsey are "tired of waiting" for the iconic courthouse building to come back into public use.
Dr Alex Allinson was speaking as the Commissioners launched an online consultation on potential uses for the old Courthouse on Parliament Street.
Commissioners' Chairman Andrew Cowie has called it 'a key location in the heart of our town' which is prime for regeneration.
It currently appears likely the building will be put on the open market by government to assess the site's value, but Dr Allinson says the building should be a public asset and the centre of the community
