"Change is always a challenge, but farmers embrace change"
A public meeting is taking place tonight to discuss the possibility of harvesting methane gas as a means for generating renewable energy.
The meeting gets underway from 7.30pm at the Creg ny Baa tonight. (26 July)
Cornish energy company Bennamann is on Island, meeting with various government bodies and farmers.
If given the go-ahead, it's hoped the move would enable the agriculture sector to generate electricity and power their vehicles.
